The new branch has 10 staff and is fully equipped with automatic teller machines, internet banking and foreign exchange services to enhance the banking experience.

Westpac general manager Fiji Adrian Hughes was quoted by Fiji Times as saying that the launch of Westpac Challenge Plaza marks the first ever branch of its kind to be launched in the history of banking in the country.

Following the opening of personal banking centre in Lautoka, its total number of branches has touched to 20, according to the lender.

Operating since 1901 in the country, the bank employs more than 470 staff and offers various banking products and services to its customers.
